The WaterRower Natural is hand crafted in solid Ash Wood and has been chosen due to its marvellous engineering properties, primary amongst these is its ability to absorb sound and vibration enhancing the WaterRower's quietness and smoothness of use.Ash, like all woods used in WaterRower construction, is a premium hardwood with incredible longevity and dimensional stability.For reasons of ecology, all our woods are harvested from replenishable forests



Patent Flywheel Design
The WaterRower's patented WaterFlywheel has been designed to emulate the exact dynamics as a boat moving through water; the objective of the exercise of rowing. The outcome is an exercise with uncanny similarity to the 'real thing.'In much the same way as an oarsperson levers the boat through the water with each stroke, the WaterRower user levers the Water around in the tank. An increase in speed will increase this resistance and require an increase in effort/intensity.

if you had told me last month that I would have a $3000 rower in my house I would asked what the punch line was. but this rower is no joke. I have never been a fan of rowing and was in at elite Lower Hutt looking for a bike to use at home. the salesman seemed to be more worried about asking me what my fitness goal was than selling me anything. it all made sence when he told me that he didn't want me to take something home that I wasn't happy with. after a short walk around the shop and a bit of a go on some other machines he put me on a rower, I didn't feel all that good until he showed me how to do it properly, after getting the hang of it he showed me the water rowers. what a machine, it was smooth and easy to use and started to give a good burn vary fast. nice one elite, well done
