All the benefits of Altra's award-winning minimalist running shoe are back with a great, new look in the Altra Instinct 1.5 barefoot-inspired sneaker. This men's athletic shoe boasts a quick-drying air mesh upper with a Dri-Lex collar lining and full-length, streamlined seaming construction lining to wick moisture and reduces chafing.
The distinctive foot-shaped toe box gives toes more room to work properly; the Zero DropTM platform allows a more natural, efficient foot strike that helps reduce joint impact, shin splints and forefoot pain. A dual-density, 5mm cushioned footbed rides atop a 12mm, dual-layer cushioned midsole providing essential shock absorption and responsiveness. Built on a male-specific last, the Altra Instinct 1.5 runner is finished with a 4.5mm blown rubber outsole to provide a natural, all-purpose traction system for a variety of surfaces from road to treadmill to trails.
