SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Delivery can only be made within New Zealand. We do not deliver to PO boxes. Delivery times are only guidelines, not guarantees. Elite Fitness will not offer compensation for deliveries that do not arrive within the specified time frames. All deliveries are signature on delivery, unless instructed otherwise.

We aim to deliver your order as promptly as possible. However, we do not have control over your order once it has been passed to the courier/freight company. Some deliveries may be late due to your location, accidents or local disruptions. In these instances, Elite Fitness will not be liable for any consequential loss. Please ensure that you CHECK your delivery before signing for it.

PICKUP

Pickup is available at the website price on stocked items from our Auckland Warehouse.. Currently the warehouse is available for pickups between the hours of 10am-3pm Mon-Fri next business day after order processed e.g ordered on Monday, processed and invoiced on Monday, pickup is Tuesday. If you need to collect outside of these times, this is possible but will delay your order. Please let us know by email to info@elitefitness.co.nz or call us on 0800 243 834. Details will be emailed to you with Warehouse address and instructions once your order has been completed and fulfilled.

FREIGHT OPTIONS

Basic Freight

Basic Freight is a door to door service. This means the item will be left near or by your door or at the end of your driveway. If the truck or vehicle cannot access your house it will be curbside delivery. Usually delivered by normal freight means that depending on size of product i.e. if over 25kg you should expect to assist in the un-loading of the product. If freight is really heavy please have assistance on hand as normal freight does not in-clude multiple people or specialist equipment to move or unload items. For larger, heavier goods we recom-mend that you ensure the correct number of people are available to lift the item from the truck as the driver may not be willing to assist. If you cannot remove or lift the item yourself or with assistance, delivery may be deferred to a different date or time and additional charges may apply for redelivery or storage. Please do not ask drivers to lift items more than what is specified by OSH or to lift items into the home as refusal often of-fends.

All orders over 25kgs are sent by basic freight. With Basic freight ensure:

1. Adequate persons are present to lift the item from the truck if need be

2. If the item cannot be lifted into the house or a covered area, please have something which can cover the item (incase of rain etc)

3. If you are not at home and the item requires redelivery or cannot be removed from the truck be prepared to pay additional costs.

4. Ensure you inspect the goods thoroughly for damage before signing for goods. If the goods are damaged please note this on the consignment note i.e. I received this but not happy as the box was damaged, or dam-aged / missing parts etc.... In the case where the item looks badly damaged or mishandled refuse to take deliv-ery. If you sign for an item you are accepting that the item has been received in the condition it was expected, and the freight company will not honor any claim for damage. Elite fitness will not be able to claim for damage on your behalf.

General freight is a very basic destination to destination service no bells or whistles. Cheap efficient and cost effective. If you require a more personal service you may want to pay the additional costs.

FREIGHT ERRORS

Should there be an error with your order in regards to freight where we feel the freight cost is either too low or too high, we will be in contact with you to let you know.

RURAL FREIGHT

Rural Freight options are quoted to you after the sale. A quote is obtained directly from our Freight supplier and then quoted to you. This takes upto 1 business day. If you are happy with the freight price, you can then reply confirmation. Sometimes other economical options are available in your area like freight to depot or to a friend or family members address in a non rural post code address.

DELIVERY TIMES

Delivery times vary depending on the location within New Zealand. We aim to dispatch your order within 2 business days, however at times there may be delays in getting the order out to you. (Note: In order to ensure fast and efficient delivery times, we recommend having your goods delivered to a business address. This will also help you avoid any redelivery fees)

Estimated times of arrival are as follows:

Deliveries will only be delivered during business days (Mon-Fri excluding public holidays).

Small Courier Items (under 2kg and .010m3 or satchel based items)

Overnight delivery (weekdays) to Main towns in North Island, and 2 days for South Island main towns after dis-patch

Large Courier items (items over 2kg and less than 25kg and over .010m3 and less than .125m3, or to big to fit into a satchel)

Auckland 1 business day after dispatch

North Island 1-2 Business days after dispatch

South Island 2-3 Business days after dispatch

Rural Address 2-4 business days after dispatch

*Please note that locations outside capital cities may take an extra day or two. Deliveries to home addresses may take an extra day.

Freight items (Items over 25kg and/or .125m3)

Auckland 1-2 business days after dispatch

North Island 2-3 Business days after dispatch

South Island 2-4 Business days after dispatch

Rural Address 3-5 business days after dispatch

Tailored Delivery and/or Installation option

As this service is dependent on a store location near you, it will be booked in by the local store. Time selection is based on a 2 hour window between Mon-Friday 10-4pm

Urgent Freight next day delivery

This service is available only to Auckland customers who spend over $1000 and will be delivered next busi-ness day. Many options are available with the most economical option being delivery by 5pm. Call us on 0800 243 834 for more information and to see if you are in an area that qualifies.

Home Deliveries

Deliveries to residential addresses may take an extra day. If you are not home to accept delivery, and have given the freight company ATL (authority to leave) goods will be left at your property. Elite Fitness takes no responsibility for the goods once they are delivered. If the driver feels that it is unsafe to leave the goods they will leave a card. It is then the customers responsibility to collect their goods from the nearest depot. If the or-der is to be redelivered you will be charged a redelivery fee.

Business Deliveries

A business address is one that is located in a business district. If you work from home, this does not make your residential address a business address. All couriers prefer to deliver to a business address, so where possible please do so. This will speed up your delivery.

Shipping Policy

Elite Fitness will not be liable for any failure to deliver ordered goods or any delay in doing so. Furthermore, Elite Fitness have no liability for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or cir-cumstance outside our control including, but not limited to: strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, natural disasters. Please be aware that we cannot accept any claim for damages caused by the carrier once you have signed for the goods "received in good condition" or words to this affect that appears on the carrier's paperwork/delivery notes. It is not always possible for a freight com-pany to call you before delivering goods. A track and trace can be requested for your order once it has been processed by dispatch.

Dispatch

Once an order has been processed by the web/phone sales team, it is sent to dispatch. As there are multiple orders coming in from the online team as well as other departments such as retail stores, service department and our commercial department, we use a queue system. Once your order comes up in the queue, it gets printed for Dispatch. The Dispatch teams role is to pick your order, have it checked by a second staff member, pack the item(s), measure the dimensions (if larger than 0.125m3 and/or multiple items are being shipped), en-ter the details into the freight system, and then place a shipping address label on your package. This process is subject to how many orders are in the Queue system and can take 1 business day during off peak times, and up to 3 business days during peak times. Shipping Terms and Conditions

Orders are released for dispatch only upon receipt of cleared payment in full.

Please note that this website currently supports New Zealand-wide shipping only. Prices are all in New Zea-land Dollars (NZD) and include Goods and Services Tax. For international orders, you will be responsible for organising and booking your own shipping method from New Zealand. Overseas orders to a local freighter must be paid by bank transfer as we will refuse any order using an overseas credit card for fraud prevention.

If one item on your order is backordered, the whole order will be dispatched when the backordered item is back in stock. We will only perform a backorder upon your request. If you would like the order shipped in separate lots you may incur additional shipping charges. Please email info@elitefitness.co.nz if you would like further information. On occasion your order will not be delivered in full, please wait a day before notifying us as usually the remainder of your order will be delivered the following business day. Elite Fitness does not have control over the delivery time or date and the courier/freight company may not be able to fulfil special instructions. If you have questions about delivery time or date or whether special instructions can be fulfilled, please Elite Fit-ness on 0800 243 834 so we can advise.

All Transport deliveries require someone to be available to accept delivery. If no-one is home at the time of de-livery you will either have to collect the order from the nearest depot or you will be charged a redelivery fee un-less you have given us an Authority to leave request (ATL)

Important additional information before you buy — Please Read

All Elite Fitness warranties are back to base, please ensure you are able to return a product for any service requirements or to meet warranty terms and conditions before completion of the sale. At completion of sale the following terms are assumed to be accepted by the purchaser unless otherwise stated in writing. 1. All items requiring warranty repairs must be returned at the customers’ expense to an Elite service centre, Service Centre's are available in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch. 2. Parts returned under warranty will be replaced at no cost after inspection confirms warranty failure and re-placement or repaired parts will be returned at Elite's cost. 3. Any machines returned for repairs under warranty will be shipped / returned at cost of purchaser if not col-lected. 4. Due to the geographic location of many customers purchasing over the internet, Elite cannot guarantee ser-vice on site or in home even if additional costs for labour or travel have been accepted by the customer, Elite cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred or associated costs in the return of the product or the inability to use the product inside or outside of the warranty due to failure or inability to return the product to a Service Centre.
